From Carolyn Dougherty, comes this recommendation for the Talavera Hotel, Newquay, Cornwall, UK. Carolyn says: "I spent last summer driving around Western England on my 1949 Royal Enfield J2, and this is one of the places I stayed at. John and Maggi were delightful, and treated me and my bike very well. They took a photo of us to put over the bar! John has a beautiful old Triumph, and Maggi has a little Harley. |

Ogri Cafe Wesson's Motorcycles, Horam, East Sussex The cafe is attached to the back of Wesson's, which specialises in Moto-Guzzis. The decor is based around the famous Ogri cartoon series from 'Bike' magazine. Food seems a bit on the expensive side - until you see the size of the portions! Try the delicious bacon, cheese and mushroom omelette. Or, if you reckon you can handle it, the 'Armageddon' burger. Eat one of these with chips, and your drinks are on the house! |

Yes folks, a Rocker style cafe - in Solingen, Germany. A would-be rival to the UK's Ace Cafe, the Hubraum has been gaining prestige since 1993. As well as a cafe and meeting place, they host events and rides. Take a look at their excellent web-site (hope you can understand German!) Actually, we've been in touch with them, and hopefully an English version of the site will appear before long. |
