'Northern Exposure'

The 5th Honda Hornet Owners Club Annual Gathering.

THE EVENT:

This will be the 5th Honda Hornet Owners Club Annual gathering and is basically a social get together of club members over a weekend with the emphasis on relaxing, socialising, talking Hornet banter and generally letting our hair down.

In addition there will be a couple of organised ride-outs, awards presentations, competition/raffle, quiz and a chance to snap up some Club merchandise and some bits for your steed as we have negotiated a discount for Club members from the on site shop for the weekend.

THE DATE:

Friday 1st, Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd August 2003

Hornet owners should not arrive before 3pm on the Friday.

THE PLACE:

Squire's Cafe - Sherburn in Elmet, nr York.

Camping is available in the grounds of the pub/cafe and is FREE.

PLEASE NOTE: No shower facilities available, only toilets and washrooms.

Squire's Cafe Sherburn is located just off the A1 on the B1222 on the way to Sherburn In Elmet, North Yorkshire.

It's a popular biker spot and offers plenty of facilities to tickle the biker's fancy:

Extensive Menu catering for varied tastes. Available early til late.

Large Concert Room

Two bars

On Site Bike spares shop

2 pool tables

6 arcade video games including Manx TT

Large parking areas and field for camping.

THE FINER DETAILS:

The emphasis is definitely on socialising rather than lots of ride-outs this year. The Northerly location means that most attendees will have travelled a fair distance prior to arrival.
