This picture shows Darren Jones clearing the top of CadwellÕs infamous mountain in hot pursuit of Johhny Glendinning. To put this into perspective, the fastest open 600Õs were lapping in 1:34Õs, very impressive.

From what we understand of the commentry that man Glendinning won the second race of the day, but this is to be confirmed. Sundays Race 1 was just after lunch, it was warm and humid but pretty overcast. Luckily the day stayed dry until after the last race, which was Race 2 for the Hornets. This picture shows a stream of Hornets chased by CB500Õs just after the start climbing up to Charlies.

Both races saw fierce scrapÕs for the lead with up to 4 bikes involved. There were some fallers at the bottom of the mountain, Tim Booth coming off with ex 250 GP racer Alan Carter (on a CB500). One luckless Hornet managed to stay on his bike across the grass until he rolled off at a virtual standstill, earning a nice round of applause from the crowd to which he responded with a gentlemenly bow. In both races Johhny Glendenning took the win. Finally a picture of that man showboating, notice both wheels off the ground!
